Gambol Shroud was my first two-part printed prop, which taught me the importance of measuring allowances for primer, paint and other changes that occur during the assembly process. Being unable to find a suitable place in the larger blade to run a support bar, I instead opted for reinforcing the outside of the print with 1mm PVC sheet with superglue. Everything was printed in PLA, assembled with Loctite, seams filled and sanded prior to priming, painting and detail touchups.
